On January 25, on the Russian Students’ Day, the Perm State University History Museum together with the Perm Museum of Contemporary Art (PERMM) will represent a new interactive platform within the “Campus Martius” project.
The project called “Campus Martius” brings together the Antiquity, the civic consciousness and the university. How? The answer is the open and hospitable university museum, which changes the environment around us. It’s believed that everyone who studied at the university has a special memorable lecture-room, a corridor which you went through so many times, a teacher who you fondly remember, everyone has warm memories of times they spent here. And this is what we are going to talk about.
Have you ever had a fateful meeting? Who was the worst lecturer ever? Have you ever had an insight? Have you ever waived an exam? Was your senior thesis defense successful? What comes to your mind when you walk down the university halls? We would like you to share such things with us, telling us more about your student years, because the recollections are what bring us closer and make us feel all good inside.
We want our students to be able to express their opinions and to implement solutions and development for themselves, to change the space around them and to shape the world in their image. Let’s share our memories, discuss our matters of interest and fill the world around us with the warmth of human contact! Let’s make the building number 2 a new student museum, a museum of students’s open-mindedness! We are the ones to give this world meaning, we are the ones to bring it joy and beautiful feelings.
The event is being organised by the Trade-Union Committee of Perm State University to celebrate the Russian Students’ Day. Come join us on January 25 at 5 p.m. (Perm State University, 15 Bukireva st., building 2, 2nd floor, from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m.).
